Raising Beef...
Ever wanted to raise your own beef but don't have a farm?

Have you ever tasted fresh from the farm beef?  Being raised on a farm we didn't REALLY understand the value
of pastured eggs, fresh beef and gardening until we started feeding our own family.  We were looking at
supermarket products and wondering where did this come from? Who grew it? Who handled it?  Is it
contaminated?  Why are there so many preservatives?... It was time to get back to our roots.

We are truly bless to live where we know our neighbors, the air is clean, and crickets and bull frogs can still be
heard.  We wish to share a piece of this paradise with you starting with BEEF!!

Whether it's flavor you seek, health concerns or just the adventure of trying out your own feeding regimen we
have a program for you!
How It Works

The idea is to give you the freedom to raise the calf to your specifications.  Just how you would if you owned the farm!  You
may purchase an animal of any age, sex, or breed.  We are here to help guide you as little or as much as you wish... After
all this is your dinner!  Whole or 1/2 calves may be purchased from us or we can help you locate a healthy prospect.
None of the beef raised here is given antibiotics or hormones.

Option 1:  The FARM PLAN- We have been raising calves for ourselves and friends for many years.  We leave calves
on the pasture until they are about 500-600lbs.  Then we start the finishing feed which consist of a commercially grown
grain ration and grass hay mix for 90 days.  This plan results in a finished animal of approximately 900-1000 lbs full of
flavor, juicy and tender!

Option 2: Pasture Finished-  Calves are left on pasture to graze and are supplemented with grass hay (no grain) until
finished and ready for processing.  Pastures are native grasses and typically our grass hay is coastal or other Bermuda
hybrid.

Option 3: Custom Feeding- We will feed your calf a unique diet designed by you!  Talk to us about what you want from
your beef and we will help you every step of the way!

** We will help match you with other buyers on half calves.**
